Science Day

Before the Easter holidays, the lower & Upper juniors had another fun packed day of science. This time our topic was the weather. The students did experiments making “thunderstorms” in a cup, and “clouds” in the microwave as well as other projects.

We look forward to our next Science day when our topic will be: Forces!

Important Dates

  • Half Term: 26th May- 3rd
  • June Bank Holiday Monday: 7th May
  • Last Day of Term: 11th July

Coding With the Juniors

As part of our Media/IT class studies the students of the Lower & Upper Juniors are learning about coding.

At PCA we feel this is a really important part of the students’ technological learning. We were happy to see them so excited and involved in one of our recent lessons that included coding or
programming “BeeBot” our mini bumble bee robot.

Working together, the students programmed Beebot around a maze.

“We hope the enthusiasm continues as they learn more about the “language” that is code.”
